Hey everybody,
My name is Peter and I'm a Gold Coast guy that now lives in Brisbane.
I only stumbled upon this forum a few days ago but knew I had to join and get involved here.
I've been wet shaving for about a year now, having done a lot of research before hand (like Googling, YouTube, shave forums and different vendors). I've been using a Merkur 34C, a Shavemac Silver Tip brush, and have used Geo F Trumper coconut shaving cream predominantly, as well as some Stirling and Mitchell's wool fat hard soaps. I've also tested a few blades, including Feather, Astra SP, Derby, Treet, Polsilver, but have stuck with the Astra and Feather. I'm getting some new products this week though including s couple of razors (an EJ89, an Ikon X3 slant (my first)), and a new cream and soap including TOBS and Razorock. I use Stirling witch hazel, and Nivea balm after shaving as well.
But that's enough for now! I'm looking forward to reading and posting here and continually learning more to help myself and others with their wet shaving!
