I think its a nice save starting combo for most from what i can tell. And not to hard on the wallet for something that some people might give up on. I still use the Proraso red regularly as i like to mix up what i use. Change is as good as a holiday :)
 
Great to have you join in the fun @Brendan

Your skin will thank you for adding some oil to your post-shave routine. A few of the lads here rub a few drops of oil (olive, Argan, almond, jojoba...) into wet hands and then massage on the face post-shave. It softens the skin no end. Well worth the extra minute. (Search the forum for further discussion for more info.)
