I can't reply to posts - sometimes

Is there some limit that I don't know about?

I was just able to reply to a post in the 'Welcome Mat' forum, however when I tried to reply to one in the 'Honing' forum I found that I couldn't - the text box was just grey and I coulnd't enter any text.

Does anyone know what is wrong?

I get that on my work PC and can't use the forum at all. No idea. Try changing your editor preference in settings.
 
Jugs had a similar issue of late that was seemingly caused by the editor preferences. There are some other issues also, I am working on resolving them.
 
Under settings I changed my editor to standard instead of advanced.

That made the difference.
 
I am noticing that some of the buttons in the Advanced Editor are not showing the image. I believe to be related to a security issue which I have nullified for now. Will need an update to be applied but that will happen after the move to the new server.
