Hello all I am from Sydney and have been DE wet shaving since Jan/Feb this year.
Previously I was using a Shick Hydro which was giving me great glass smooth BBS but also continously giving me ingrown hairs and irritations. I also had a Braun Series 7 which basically collected dust in a cupboard due to its inability to completely shave my facial hair.
Moving along Ive learnt so much about brushes, razors, blades, soaps, after shaves etc from watching many many hours of youtube (thanks to geofatboy) and also just doing a lot of reading on the topic. I am now happily getting daily glass smooth BBS shaves from my Rex Ambassador on setting 3 - but still have so much to explore and learn. My current soaps include Squadron, Phoenix Artisans, Taylors Of Bond Streer, Geo F Trumpers amongst many others. I can not stand Proraso shaving soap because it unfortunately just does not work for me but I do love the pre shave.
I would like to thank the members of TAWSE on Facebook for the conversations, advice, banter, live shaves, instructions, helpful ideas etc bunch of great guys. And one member which introduced me to this Forum Peter
I also enjoy socialising with all types of people of good motives and agendas with humor, sarcasm, banter etc.
