Proraso Green

I've had an on-again off-again liking for Proraso green over the years.

I love the scent, it's always fresh. But after a while I realise again it's really drying and the lather I get simple isn't as good as other brands.

How do you get on with the Green? Am I missing something? Now a SH tallow tribute to it would be special.

I find that the Proraso creams work exceptionally well and are great for a quick shave when I am in a hurry. I have also heard (no personal experience though) that the cream does perform slightly better than the soap tubs (the ingredients are slightly different as well).

I have suspected the creams might be better.
