Storing soaps

Guys,

What's the correct way to store soaps after you've used them?

Do you rinse the tub out after to get rid of some of the lather in there? Do you simply leave it to dry out post shave & then put the cap back on?
 
My way is to rinse any lather residue left around the outer-rim of the container. Shakeout any excess water and leave open for the rest of the day for the puck to dry. Close up and store when I get home from work or after dinner.

Creams go back into my cupboard straight after use.
 
I just let them dry overnight and then put the lid back on - no rinsing here...
 
Thanks for all the input guys. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't damaging the soaps in anyway based on storing them!
 
After a single use, due to contamination issues, I place them in storage and go onto the next new soap in line.
Pfft, weirdos, who knows what you're contaminating your face with!
