Suggest me a razor...

Get the Merkur Open Comb (Pureman Head) and get a nice long handle made up.

@Drubbing - you have convinced me to give the 30C a shot. The unique look and your experience with it makes it appealing. A razor that turns a Feather shaveable instrument needs closer inspection. Only 20 quid from Connaught so I thought why not.

Fingers crossed that it works for this fanboy of the 34C as it has for you.

Hey that's sneaky, wasn't even your thread…

I'm going to cop it from both of yous if you find it different. Just as well I'm a mod, I can edit it all out. Sweet.

The 30/34C Merkurs are can't miss razors but nothing overly spesh IMHO. Don't get me wrong like I say they're well designed razors with decent build quality. I'd give some consideration to a Slant if you're going down the Merkur path, as they're a very good razor thats always sought after. Personally I preferred mine to the 34c I had.

Anything from Weber is a real bargain of a razor - honestly look at the price of any other well made SS razors - they're twice the price and I can assure you they're very well made and something that'll last a lifetime.

Otherwise I concur that a nice Gillette Slim is a quality addition to any shaving armoury.

Ah just noticed you went with the 30C oh well interesting looking razor - classic Merkur head so am sure it'll shave nicely. Prefer an all metal model myself but they look nice from the pix.

Haven't got anything just yet, birthdays is a week or 2 away yet.

I'm worried about going a slant, i have acne and a sensitive face, i also only shave twice a week, what takes most men a day to grow takes me about 3....

I was feeling my 5 o'clock shadow at the time ....
