agreed, proraso is a good starter but only one that's lasted with me is the green lineGeo f trumper do a nice cream, real talk prorasso is not bad for the money but it isn't a good soap in the scheme of things
I find the performance to be okay but even for the money it isn't even that great really, I loved it initially but wow dosnt your world open when you try some stuff from local manufactures.agreed, proraso is a good starter but only one that's lasted with me is the green line
The art of Shaving sandalwood gets a bit of flack for price. But it is a HUGE tub of cream and I disagree that it's over priced. My favourite scented sandalwood, it's very boutique and performance is top notch. I also love Taylor of Old Bond Street sandalwood too. Another top favourite if you want a hard pick is Fine Santal Absolut (based on aforementioned AOS sandalwood)
Happy shaving

Oh yep. Thanks for the info! And the cream is absolutely beautiful mate. Better performance than my TOBS Sandalwood. Probably best performing cream i haveThe best of the whole lot is the AOS NOS 3 pucks deal on ebay (Brooklyn Vendor) which is what Fine try to imitate with their Santal. The new AOS sandalwood pucks are not tallow, never tried the cream.
I also like Trumpers Sandalwood, it's as close to Sandalwood as you can get without using real Sandalwood.
