"Ad Astra was the choice this morning. Only "Ace" to go tomorrow morning as I do not have "Dutch Resistance". The Ad Astra scent stays with me a lot longer than "Scramble" or "The Warden". A great lather from start to finish with plenty more available in the shaving bowl.

What a difference a handle can make - the razor felt agile and zipped around effortlessly - super close, yet very smooth shave with a very happy face afterwards.

Loving this brush more and more - cloud soft, yet a lather machine. If I would imagine a perfect knot - this one would be pretty close and the proof is the wonderful Mike's lather.

Tried the Mongoose today for the first time in a while - good, but I think I do prefer the General. One small weeper on my chin but probably just rushing the final pass. Good burn and scent from the Virgin Island Bay Rum.​

Only my second use of Monsavon and it's a definite keeper. Great slickness and post shave and easier to lather than most creams.

Started out with the Red Tip but quickly changed to Fat Boy. It was too aggressive for the time I had to shave and already had three weepers by first pass.

Like all Squadron Soaps, Ace lathered up beautifully and there was plenty of it. Very nice scent, but not a great shave!

B&M 'Cheshire' / Semogue 1250 Boar / Mongoose + Pro (6) / Aqua di Gio

Early morning shave - love the fresh lemony scent of the Cheshire.

The Mongoose or the blade is not on top of its game (or maybe its just me!). No nicks, but felt a little rough and not the usual super smooth result.

Pleasant but generic scent from the Aqua di Gio. With all the boutique artisan splashes, I am not used to smelling like most other guys
