Black Lace! That makes Slade look pretty good. Actually Slade went down well, it was all a bit tongue in cheek and a good time was had by all.Turns out it was Black Lace and they started belting out Aaaaaa-gaaaaaaa-do-do-do....... gutted![]()
Not sure if I really want to see the Kerry King band once more...I fear it might ruin all the fond memories I have seeing them over the years - especially with Jeff...first real concert for me was slayer in 95 and again in 98. pretty disappointing to find out their only Melbourne gig on the farewell tour will be at download festival.considering if a flight to adelaide might be a better option.

Yeah not really - I know more than is publicly out there, but cannot really talk about it...except to say it is The Kerry King BandIt's not really "proper" Slayer without Lombardo and wasn't for many years before Jeff's death..... Paul and Gary are more than adequate though and also remember that Jeff was *instrumental* (pardon the pun!) in picking his replacement several years prior to his departure.
Forum isn’t nearly as active as it has been hey gang.
Could be a reason, more like an excuse!Busy work/life schedule being so close to end of year and Christmas could be a reason....
Quran,a tome on Buddhism ,something Sikh,Taoism and maybe Confucianism. Should balance things out.Books I have been reading;
The key to the tarot-A.E Waite
Journeying; a beginners guide to the bible- Michael Trainor
Both King James and new international bibles- Depends who you ask?
The essential Kabbalah- Daniel c. Matt
A big ass pile of old Masonic books I was given-
Various upanishads.
this line of reading is proving quite enlightening, winding roads intersect often.
I’m also loving the remade Battlestar Galactica-
very sad it only ran for 4 seasons.
It’s a frakin outrage!
