Nice close shave to kick off an 'oddly sunny' Melbourne morning. I think this is the first go with a rapira blade, and it was run of the mill average like a personna red or voskhod blade imo.
Simply put, todays shave was sublime. First time out with the JAWS was a total success and I look forward to getting to know the razor properly. Long story short the razor was super-efficient, up there with the R41 no worries but smoother.

Assistance from one of my grand daughters, Melody, during today's shave. She choose the prerelease Stirling Soap Company Tsuka based on the original Hanae Mori scent. I think it's already sold out which should give credit to the popularity. The brush handle was crafted by Canadian TSD member Jason (jtspartan) and fitted with an AP Shave Co 30mm SynBad knot.
Ahh the difference between soaps. The other day I was pleased as punch to find the bottom of a Crown King Lo Haiku, today I'm a little horrified that the bottom (end end) of my B&M Seville is in sight. I shall grieve when it ends.
On the bright side. Two soaps coming towards the end of their service just as Stirling may be coming to Aus? Excellent.

Got The News from Farzad @alfredus that my hot linked photos don't work for P&C members who aren't also TSD members. I'm not here to draw folks away, but to get a taste of the flavor of Australia.

Great shave to end the working week but the Rapira blade was tugging a decent amount today. Not comfortable in that aspect but I still ended up with a super close shave regardless.
Stay safe today if the weather is a bit rough in your neck of the woods...

Been using the gsb for the last couple of days and while they give me a close shave they just seem rough.last time I used them I thought they were very similar to the nacet but now I find the never to be a much better blade.be interesting to compare again in another 12 months and see what my thoughts are then.
