Mr. Strop
Every true gentleman of (even modest) means should have a matching seven-day set of straight razors.
After getting into straight razors last year, and being the gentleman that I am, I quickly gravitated to M7DS's. Being of relatively modes means, the Thiers-Issard M7DS was just a little beyond my budget. I then decided to assemble my own using Titan 1918 AMRM-2 T.H.60 straight razors. I imported these razors from Hong Kong, had the timber case custom made in Cebu, Philippines and the engraving (not etching) done by hand in Lapu-Lapu City, Philippines.
Each razor is engraved with its weekday name in Latin. So as to keep the wear even on the M7DS, I also purchased an eighth matching SR that I can use when I need to look my best for an evening engagement such as the opera, ballet or a lodge meeting. The eighth SR is engraved "Vesperum".
"Vesperum" has its own separate timber case.
I suppose it all should be called a M7+1DS.
