Maggard has to used Asendia during the pandemic, because, not enough USPS or not enough US International Mail airline carrier to deliver International package quickly, unless you have to pay a bit extra during the pandemic.

I believe they’re too many workers have lost their jobs during the pandemic, or certain restrictions in place for International mailing and packages are slowing down.

It's OK, I always knew it was going to be slow. The next level up for postage was over US$50, and that was just too much for me. If it arrives within 2 months, I'll be happy.

That's Maggards economy shipping for you. My last order didn't update till it arrived in New York. I wouldn't worry about the North American shipping, I would be more concerned about Aus Post part of the journey.

To Pass the time
Here are a few apps I reccommend.

17 ( good all round parcel tracking )
Track 24 ( very up to date and has added info on eta etc)
Deliveries ( up to date, has Aus Post account link, and map tracking to see which strange routes your parcel is taking)

Yep, in this case, the only place even showing it as being in the system is asendia's own website. I'm just going to have to be patient... :yawn:

Edit: track24 has just picked it up. ETA 27/9 to 7/10. I think that might be a bit optimistic, but we'll see... :)

That will change once the item arrives in New York. Then that eta may become irrelevant due to Aus Post carrier handoff.
 
This arrived today.

My first Squadron soap and my first impression of the scent is 👌. Being an ex smoker, I wasn't sure how I'd take to the tobacco scent, but there are so many tobacco scents that sound great, so had to try one. Very happy thay I did.
Can't wait to give it a run tomorrow to see how it performs.

One of BEST scents. New white tubs? Like em 👍
 
Is this the version 3 tub ? Is it wider than the black tubs, like the original metal containers?

V1 metal container
V2 Black plastic container
V3 white top clear plastic container

@Chad do have some more pics of the container from side on ?

Tub comparison with B&M Seville. It is considerably taller and not as wide. Admittedly I'm not a huge fan of the shape of this tub, but the scent is so good it makes up for it.
 
The best acquisition is the one you didn't even know you made. I opened the mailbox today and pulled out a largish envelope with a return address of Ahmet's BarBer Shop in Victoria. Of course .as it was from Victoria. I immediately dropped it into a pot of boiling water for 10 MINUTE AND EVERYTHING TURNED TO MUSH (BUT VERY STERILIZED MUSH. :)

Nah that is bullshit - I ripped it open to discover two sticks of Derby Berber Tiras Sabunu / which I took to mean - Shaving Soap. I have a vague memory of the Happy Clapping Bean Counter mentioning these in another thread, So if you are responsible @Mark1966 I thank you and will report back when I have tried it.

WOOT WOOT, now you can enjoy Changeover Day, it is a thing you know. Maybe do it on the equinox as @alfredus suggested?

Couldn't have you using that ARKO! all year round ...
