Razor: Gillette NEW head on TSW Bren handle
Blade: Polsilver "Brown" (5)
Post-shave: L&L Grooming/Chatillon Lux TSM Fougere splash
Fragrance: N/A

First use of this sample splash I found - very nice!

Not the smoothest shave and nicked my chin but super close... Sparkle, Sparkle!!!

I spend more time than I care to admit on the hunt for the next "best razor". However, after a shave like this morning I need to remind myself that I already have in my den this fantastic piece of engineering. I could happily shave with this combo every day.​
 
A bit of the old slice and dice tonight. Very little pain followed by a trickle of good South Australian claret. I'm not sure if it is just me but some shaves just go off road and never really make it back on track. Great blade, great brush, a top soap and only 95% concentration.
Me .. "Oh !!!! - that's not nice!"
Me .. "Oh !!! - didn't I just do that?!"

Not really too bad, only one nick worthy of mention but the lather stayed pink for all the shave.

The final result was actually quite acceptable. DFS with some areas significantly closer :)

Pre-shave:- Cold Water straight from the tap
Bowl/Scuttle:- Captain's Choice
Brush:- WCS Two-Tone Tall (Blue & White) Extra Dense Synth. 26/56mm knot
Soap/Cream:- Declaration Grooming ~ Yuzu/Rose/Patchouli
Razor/Blade:- Merkur 34C / Gillette Silver Blue #3
Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Natural Glycerin (20 drops) & Tea Tree Antiseptic (5) / The Stray Whisker Aftershave Balm (Australian made)

Haven't we all been there!

The number of times I've gotten to the end of a shave and have had NO IDEA what I was doing is thankfully larger than the number of times I've been brutally reminded mid-shave ...

A disappointing shave with the Bic too harsh for this razor... I think I'll be re-shaving after work...? :unsure:
