I flew to Armidale yesterday, overnighted at Inverell then this afternoon flew back to Sydney from Armidale.

this was on a window at Armidale airport - thought it might go well here considering it was supposed to be serious - not for me - if they can't get spelling or grammar correct (especially on a poster about covid safety) then I feel it's ok to take the p... out of them. clearly no proofreading going on. hope you find it worthy.

Sometimes the proofreader gene is a burden and an affliction. I am one of those benighted souls who can spot a typo or a grammatical solecism from 40 places, and I sometimes struggle with the urge to make corrections with a red marker pen. Just occasionally, they are unintentionally really funny, and other people look at me strangely when I laugh for no apparent reason.
