Shave of the Day Thread - 2023

First time shave with this home-made French point shorty. It was originally a full-size Titan ACRM-2 T.H.60 Dutch point. This shorty is dressed in flame figured European maple scales and finished/maintained on diamond pasted balsa. Also the first time that I have shaved with the VI-John shave cream that was PIFed to me from Malaysia.

Brush:- AP Shave Co True Blood Resin 24/52mm Fan G5C Premium Synth.
Soap/Cream:- Stirling Soap Co ~ Vanilla Sandalwood
Razor/Blade:- Gillette Ball End Tech (0.56mm) 1946-50 made in England / NOS English Wilky #3
Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Invite E High Potency Pure Oil (10 drops), Natural Plant Glycerine (20) & Tea Tree Oil Antiseptic (5)
Fragrance:- Tommy Hilfiger for Men

The Athena performed to perfection!
All my trouble spots were taken care of with little effort. It was simply a pleasure to come back to the Athena. It's one of the smoothest shaves I have had all year and I have certainly had a lot of good ones.
I have noticed that I have needed to shave more often lately but I am enjoying using everything I have and catching up on a few old hidden gems.
