Looking for some help. My friend in Texas US is looking for Proraso Wood & Spice, it has been discontinued there.
I can get a very good price here for the 275ml packs and he is happy to pay postage.

When I try to fill-in the customs deceleration online all options of – Soap, lotion, cream, shaving.
All come up as restricted / hazardous may not be able to send.

Has anyone had any success sending shaving cream to US?

Thx a lot👍🏻

@Garry357, there are two main reasons why it may come up as restricted/prohibited. One reason is that the mail goes by passenger aeroplane and part of the ingredients may not be allowed on board. The other reason is a US customs prohibition.

Try using your local PO to fill out the customs declaration for you. That can sometimes work. An alternative is to use FedEx, UPS or DHL. They will often accept international parcels that Australia Post are not happy with handling.

The lotion I can understand but the rest should be able to be sent no problem. I sold a shave kit to the US including all the tools plus pre-shave oil, post balm and lotion though the lotion couldn't go outside Oz and he was good with that. As long as I had the correct description Oz post sent it. Take the stuff in or tell Oz post what you want to send and where and they should be able to help you out.
