I received theses two Goodfella's smile soaps today.
Tried the Savage this evening its superb. ( fragrance is reminiscent of Dior Savage.)
They were recommended to me by our shave soap guru.

It was actually Christmas Day, last year, that I received this from a daughter for Christmas -



Which OF COURSE meant that I had to get these from our friends at Beard & Blade to make the set complete -



They were having their Boxing Day Sale when I ordered and since I missed out on @Gargravarr's generous PIF, I thought it would be a shame to not try these ...



Ordered 30 December, received 2 January - they are quick ...

1st of 3 purchases in Decemeber 2024 to arrive. Ever-ready, Chrome Plate SE, common name/s “Ambassador’’, ‘’Jewel’’ or ‘’Streamline’’ (Case dependent) 1949-53. As in a metal case this is a Jewel, it is in > VGC for it's age. All British made. Still awaiting a NIB Gem1914 and a NOS Micromatic Clog Pruf (still fully sealed) Thanks NOT to @SpeedyPC for this new found addiction!!

Nah had to find this one myself, but @SpeedyPC has sent be down another Wabbit hole but I’m grateful for that, as they shave beautiful and a 2 pass BBS is attainable, at times without a “touch up”

To further get the Speedster going the 2nd of 3, 2024 purchases!!
Just arrived NOS Gem Micromatic Clog Pruf, in original container, wrapping and full insructions on back of container, cardboard box very poorly damaged!! I'm still awaiting a NIB Ever-ready 24/14.

The first of 2025 and (in theory at least, banners notwithstanding ) last of my 2024 shaving purchases. This stuff is what I would describe as a heady lavender-forward fougère - in a very nice glass jar that I shall treasure when the contents are gone. Well done Manuel. The scent off the soap is (to my nose) quite strong, so I hope it doesn't get vetoed by Mme.

I totally agree its a labyrinth from which there is no escape SpeedyPC .
