Glenfarclas 105 - what a bloody stormer!

LOL - we are all such bargain hunters!

Happy to drop a couple of hundred on booze BUT WE WANT OUR FREE SHIPPING! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

(BTW @Hocky27 - when you find other single malts with a similarly good deal on the site let me know so I can grab them too!;))

Looking to buy this but also something else to hit free shipping. I'm a big fan of Talisker & don't mind some of the peatier stuff like Caol Illa or Ardbeg

Will the Talisker down from $175 to $145 work for you - https://www.nicks.com.au/talisker-18-year-old-single-malt-scotch-whisky-700ml? ($155 at Dan's)

The 'profoundly peaty' Isle of Jura - https://www.nicks.com.au/isle-of-jura-prophecy-single-malt-scotch-whisky-1000ml

A Lagavulin down from $165 to $125 - https://www.nicks.com.au/2014-lagav...h-12-year-old-single-malt-scotch-whisky-700ml

Or a second Glenfarclas maybe - https://www.nicks.com.au/glenfarclas-12-year-old-single-malt-scotch-whisky-1000ml

If all else fails how about a 96 point Lagavulin at the equivalent of Duty Free prices - https://www.nicks.com.au/lagavulin-16-year-old-single-malt-scotch-whisky-700ml ($86 at Dan's)

See, you can make it happen ....

I also caved, but not on that. Those of you on the Nicks email list will know what I bought.

... and those of us NOT on the list ?

"Sold Out" - not surprising and congrats on a great buy!
Yes, it was gone within 6 hours of the email going out. Two bottles for less than the price of one normally is definitely 'buy now, ask questions later' kind of deal. Threw in a bottle of the 1776 Bourbon also.

Bloody stormer all right - tried it for the first time tonight

A relative drank my bottle of 12 yo Glenfiddich. In return I now have a bottle of 17yo Glenfarclas waiting for me to try. I hope it's a good trade!

I've been crook though so that first tipple will have to wait...

Grabbed a bottle and I have to say I like it. Bit stronger than I normally go for. But in a good way.

The Glenfarclas is about 2 steps up in quality the Glenfiddich 12. That's a very good swap and one I would be happy with, it's about 3 times the price.

Yeah, it's definitely strong but there's a nice bite to it while there is plenty of flavour.
