2017 sabattical

Maybe you can only trade with other on sabbatical? Or demonstrate you ran out? Or no new release software/hardware?

That way you can get that one chubby you are looking for.

You pack of spineless wimps. The first rule of the sabbatical means no acquiring of shaving related gear by any means whatsoever. Not by purchase, trade or selling your soul. None nothing at all. You have anything new in the calendar year then you can wear the sabbatical fail badge. It is not even 2017 and already the sabbatical has more exceptions than a politicians expense claim. Man up gentlemen - join the sabbatical if you are willing to go without - otherwise stop pretending.

I have to admit that this was my understanding of what a sabbatical was.....

We need contracts, terms, clauses, exceptions, KPIs, outcomes, performance monitoring, integrity processes, independent audits and that is BEFORE I propose public accountability through some oversight mechanism.

Nope @Mark1966 what you need to do is not acquire any more shaving gear (a simple KPI even an accountant can comprehend) :)

Ok, so in order to keep the spirit and letter of the sabbatical, how many soap pick do I need and what do I do if I run out?

I don't think you get to buy any? I would suggest that you make sure that you have enough to see the year out beforehand. You can still order stuff now and have it delivered in 2017 just not allowed to spend money on shaving related items in 2017.

Depends on how much you load.

There is a member on the forum that gets 19 shaves out of a puck of Mystic Waters. Based on that you would need 20 tubs of Mystic Waters to see out the year.

I have about 50 tubs of soap. I think I wouldbe OK until 2020 at least myself.

Have you ever gone through a tub and how quickly? If you are serious about doing it mate it might be best to grab some more.

Need to ask Con if he will let me pre pay for a tub of the cologne Russe or the Seville or is that against the rules? Otherwise I will put up a want to buy and if I can't get it, I will grab a couple of the LPL

You definitely need more, when in doubt, get more. Don't forget this is a BUY NOTHING for 12 months. You'd better have enough new stuff stocked up to keep you opening new gear throughout the year.
