Simply Outstanding!This lot has trickled in over the past couple of months. I'll have to make space in the den by selling some modern artisan sets.

I was looking for a Symmetrical Kamisori and I had been looking at the Takamai but preferred the shape of my Iwasaki and after Dion had just honed it, I thought, why not get a quote for one and keep it ''Äussie Made'' if I could . He responded with a ''sure can do'' and included a couple he had just finished and long story short, I saw the picture of this and ''fell'' for it!!
Made out of No 1 tool steel, 165mm in length with a 13/16'' blade, 2 1/2 '' long. The Komi (Tang) is in ALVS Abalone with nickel silver pins. The Kanji is DC (obvious) and the Spiral signifies a philosophical understanding and represents the eternal evolution of progress and change in consciousness through learning and acceptance of self.

Decades ago, I used to work as a sysprog with Bunnings Group Systems (on Adelaide Terrace) but the "real" office was in Welshpool, built with so much beautiful jarrah like this, my eyeballs almost fell out of my head when I saw it.

Bergamot, obviously, is the top note; but there is bitter orange and mandarin in the mix as well. It smells great off the puck, which is a hard croap. Looking forward to lathering with it tomorrow.
