Of course you realise that in 1964 they also made the Flare Tip SuperSpeed, Lady Gillette and the Aristocrat version of the Slim - just saying ...
 
Nice pickup @Glen. Everyone should have a Slim in their stable. It's the razor I use as my benchmark when testing a type of blade I've never tried before. As a bonus it is a damn fine razor in its own right.
 
And a bonus if you're born in the first three months of the year is it's your birth quarter as well :)
I believe the aristocrat slim is gold plated.
