Turns out the blade is warped. I read it can still be honed - maybe. Oh well, move onto another razor and hope it's in better condition. It's not something I want to tackle at this stage of the learning curve! See if I can get the chip out of the Bengal without too much trouble.

Thanks for the offer although I doubt we're close (Mackay here). I've put the warped razor aside. Not worth worrying about.
