I have evidently not being paying attention, I never heard of them. Not exactly local for me, but next time I'm in that direction, I'll make a point of visiting.

A bit of brewing has been going on. I made a Baltic Porter back in March with hops I grew. It runs about 9%ABV and is complex and wonderful.

Good colour in that porter. Nice to see that style has been getting some interest over the last few years. As a matter of interest, what malts did you use?
munich, pilsner, crystal (60°L), carafa II, caraaroma, chocolate.
Hersbrucker hops 60 minute and flameout.
Yeast S-23.
Based on Zek's Porter by Jamil Zainseff.
But not a hops, smash mouth raspberry tart, peanut butter milk stout. Just a classic full bodied dark and complex Baltic Porter.Aha. A flavour bomb.
I can see how this style helps a long dark winter pass easily.
