Speick and La Toja are both very good. Someone also suggested Mitchells Wool Fat - I rate this too, because being triple milled, a single puck lasts for a very long time.

The Latha Range from Barrister and Mann represents excellent value for money with artisan flair at around the same price.

Artisan soaps don't meet the cheap criteria. Speick and Cella have the advantage of being locally available, or at cheap shippers like Shaving.ie or Connaught, if buying other gear.

One thing I've found with B&M is that they cost a fair bit, are good, but last 5 minutes. I've never gone through a puck of soap quicker.
