Greetings from Canberra

Thanks kindly guys!
I'm a Southsider, I realise this may cost me many friendships lol, so cool to find fellow enthusiasts

Hmmm, OK. In that case maybe you need the sympathy vote :)

Certainly time for a catchip @stillshunter - for CBR this is a crowd!

how about you guys, how are your stables looking?

Ummm, yes, I have a few. DEs mainly. Brushes shown in the avatar mostly. A few soaps and creams.

Oh, and some vintage blades.

Hey there @Daveho1 and welcome!

Plenty of great vintage safety razors - try any modern varieties?

What is your favourite way to end a shave? Splash? Balm?

(I'm sure if you meet @Mark1966 and his collection you'll find that his "stables" are quite full...)

Umm nah I haven't ventured into the world of the more modern razors, though I did put in for the new Rockwell adjustable. There are a few moderns if like to try but really I get the best shaves from my gems and really have no "need" to look elsewhere of cause this isn't about need and I'd love a wolf man but they are a tad expensive...
Splashes wise I finish up my shave with the Alum block and usually use either imperial leather or a bay rum, my favourite bay rum is basicly a bottle of Suavecito in with lucky tiger.
In the colder months I'll use Natio face cream as I tend to be out in the cold a bit and it keeps me mostly intact.

Yeah wow there are a few razors there hey mark lol! No joke i got a bit too excited about the Gem Jr. Lather catcher, I missed out on one from France a little while ago. Beautiful collection, looks like you've got an affinity for the old types esspesially, what do you find yourself using regularly?

Whichever one I grab :)

Not the Old Types generally - I tend to find them too 'bitey' usually something more recent.

Welcome @Daveho1. Being in the ACT you got some great members around you. Make sure you get to see @Mark1966 collection (something I hope to do at some point :) ).

I am sure @stillshunter can set you up with some shaver heaven samples, he has a lot of soap.
