Courtesy of Mr Drubbing I have acquired a Semogue 830. I haven't used it yet but by-jove it's got a bloody nice handle. Well weighted and a nice stiff loft. Thanks Drubbing!

Courtesy of gthomas04 I am now the proud owner of a Gillete Flare Tip, Gillette Wilkinson Sword blades and a wee bit of Prosaro and Cella! Thanks heaps Glen!

Now where do I start: a brush from Drubbing, razor and blades and soap from Glen. Looks like I'm ready for a shave with all this new kit!

You go son, and we will have you over to the SE side before you know it! Have fun

Well the other stuff isn't much good unless you've a brush to lather up with first...

Let us know how you get on with it. The 830 a couple of fans on here, so someone's getting it to work just fine.

And I can heartily endorse the quality of ex-Drubbing brushes.

And I've also picked up a Gillete something or other from eBay for $14 + $6.50 delivery. Gear acquisition syndrome has set in...

So I've whacked on the deerstalker and hit up Google for this result:

- Gillette Super Speed Flare Tip (J4) 1964
- Gillette Tech Ball End #24 1957

Plus I've the Merkur 23C circa 2011!

I've got a 74 ss flare tip but I don't really rate it other than as a curio, as it is a birth year razor.

sent from my Yoghurt lathered soap using a Semogue 830

That's crap. The 830 isn't a good enough brush to send an SMS.

Congratulations to Mark on his new baby heading down under. Nice work my friend, the RD is a nice piece.

EDIT: Post a picture for the rest of the plebs!

RD?
Real Doll?

Not sure if he wanted everyone to know about that.
Pics? No thanks, it's probably a used vintage one.

Must be a Red Dot?

Yep, but it is my second - so I'll have one to sell soon....

In many ways I didn't really want the Red Dot but the other guy really wanted an Executive so at least it will go to a good home

@ Pablo - YUCK!!!!!
