I've just done a series of test lathers with this 24mm synthetic and the results are extremly good. Good backbone, excellent for a scuttle and the tips are very soft for the face.

There was a time where I would buy just about any and everything new but lately... Meh.. I like the rut I'm in and I'm happy staying here. I'm now a one brush man with the exception of a travel brush, one soap (suppliers - many scents), one A/S (again, one supplier, many scents). Razors are a different story though. I'm still working out what's what there but slowing considerably. Even then, I have one go-to that is used 75% of the time.

They have come many galaxies beyond the white leftover dustpan brush bristles.
I will probably get one of the 24mm nylon/synthetic knots to make another brush with.
