I know it says off-licence, and that suggests alcoholic beverages, but Dan Murphy's sells both loose leaf & tea bags so that's close enough for me.

Does anyone buy loose leaf tea from a specialty store that they would recommend - as in something a step up from T2?

I want to get a nice tea for Wifebert, and try some specialty varieties myself that are hopefully a good step above what you get in the local stores

I'd recommend without a doubt lespalaisdesthes, but they are based in France, don't know how expensive would shipping be to Oz.

Their tea is excellent though, fabulous stuff.

Does anyone have experience with blooming tea?
Looking at gifting some to a few folks.

My wife enjoys Dragon Tears and Buddha's Tears. Not much of a tea drinker myself, but those teas make a good show, and a fine gift for those who are. (y)

Any recommended place to purchase them?
Obviously not a tea drinker.

Thanks all, some new places to look say and another hole to do a deep dive into.
@Holiday I hadn't even considered AliExpress for tea even though I have ordered loads from them over the years.
