To prove I am a man of my word, in honour of being placed close to my preferred position, for the next 3 months from this date I will not refer to you as an HC or a BC.

Gee whiz GT - that is so nice, what a gentleman you are! Hmmm, hang on, that could be a problem ...

That is not to say I won't come up with alternatives :)

Oh, phew. I take it back then.

No gentlemen to see here folks, keep moving along!

He's a right 'gent' in the p&c definition of the term. The very antithesis of the definition ykw.

Just an update gents, sorry, folks - box is ready and waiting. I'm just holding off until the Pureman arrives to add to it.

You forgot to set out the rules for how long the box can be kept @Mark1966 so in the spirit of friendliness and always wanting to be helpful here they are:

If you live north of Brisbane - repost the same day as you receive it (in case it melts in the heat or gets washed away in the Monsoon).

If you live in the deep west (and you lot know who you are) - since you always seem to be putting things in each others letter box, you are obviously friendly with each other therefore the box can only go to one place and the rest of you can visit to try things. I suggest Drubbings house as he always seems like a friendly and cheerful soul. There being a few of you over there you are allocated a total of three days.

If you live in Tasmania - two days (one day for each head).

If you live in Sydney - you are by definition a careful and discerning individual and will of course require sufficient time to thouroughly evaluate the contents of the box so I think two weeks minimum should suffice (if not don't rush things).

If you live in Canberra (or surrounds) - forget about it - it will be empty by time it leaves Sydney.

Hope all of this helps Mark (I know how busy you must be with the invisible sky person and those jars of coloured glass beads (see not beans) that you must count.

Any other way I can help, just let me know (I have a new supply of pills so should be on form for just about anything).

It's in the post mate, surprised it isn't there already. It went in the post on Monday with some blades for @stillshunter and he got those Wednesday (I think).

After what happened with your Schicks from the US, who knows what AusPost does all day.

Yeah - sorry wasn't suggesting any fault on your part.

This is a good leson for the new people on board. If you are wondering about the pecking order of people simple look at the obsequious respect @Mark1966 (a fully fledged Moderator) shows to @Monsta_AU (The Site Administrator). Take heed you youngsters and ensure you show the proper deference tothose who blazed the trail before you (gee I really like these new pills) :)

Darn it….or more likely I'm going to be handing back a box full of R41s, Merkur and Derby blades and sticks of Arko.

You should be so lucky.
Well sounds like I'm going to need all the luck I can get being at the tail-end….though poor @Mark1966 is even worse off seeing he's sending off a box of freshly loaded gear and gets back something filled with stale stuff folks don't want no more. Hmmm…sort of like the digestive process really.

Be honest I'm keen to try Arko and hoping this will be my chance….seems very divisive for a seemingly innocent looking stick.

I'm hoping the box doesn't get plundered then replaced with stale stuff no one wants any more. I'd like to see people put in something that is likely to be desired, as an example I am putting the last of my Floid AS in the box for others to get a shot at.

Fear not SH I have a stick of ARKO!!! that I will put in the box in there is none in there, but please note the correct way to refer to this jewel in the crown of shaving soaps :)

Yes there is a spelling convention. ARKO!!! I think the exclamation marks indicate the number of dedicated ARKO!!! club members there are. It's a very exclusive club obviously.

Drubbing dropped the box off to me on 5/7/14. This will take me slightly over the three days suggested. Apologies.

Can whomever is next please PM m your name and address? I will post on Monday.
