I was pretty happy with the original Pb Max but the scent didn't translate as expected in the soap. It smells great in the aftershave though.
I had made an alternative scent profile for Max and accidently applied the test EO mix the other day when I went for a sample bottle of Barrister Reserve Spice I've got, and I liked it so decided to make Max II.
This is a slightly different base and scent profile to Max I but still very much Labdanum based scent wise. The soap base for Max I had tussah silk but Max II has a generous addition of bentonite clay plus some olive, coconut and avocado oils.
Ingredients: Stearic Acid, Olive Oil, Tallow (Beef), Tamanu Oil, Avocado Oil, Coconut Oil, Emu Oil, Lanolin, Shea Butter, Castor Oil, Glycerine, Aloe Vera, Bentonite Clay, KOH, NaOH, Filtered Water (RO), essential oils.
Essential Oils: Labdanum, Nutmeg, Vanilla, Vetiver, Sandalwood, Patchouli, Clary Sage, Cypress.
Looking forward to giving this a run tomorrow.
