razorock shaving brush

You can certainly get stiffer ones. The disruptor is a 22mm knot set at 57mm loft. The 24mm razorock synths are set at the same loft, which gives them a fuller feel (wouldn't call them stiff). Maggards 22mm knot is set at a lower loft, which gives it more backbone (though I call it Spring in synthetics rather than backbone). The new Stirling brushes, are set lower again (24mm x 51mm). They are all plissoft style knots. You then have the ubersoft style knots from amack, tgn and whipped dog. The recent WD knots are particularly springy, and you could even get Larry to drill the handle a bit (though I don't think it's needed). I'm selling my WD synth because it has too much backbone and I prefer the plissoft knots at higher lofts DSDF ;)

I'm sure you can get something that fits the bill.
