Prep: NOS Country Life Australia tallow/lanolin/glycerin soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Tony Forsyth P&C LE 2020 Matilda Rhodium 2-band Silvertip Badger
Soap: Wholly Kaw La Fougère Parfaite
Razor: Rex Konsul (2.5)
Blade: Vintage NOS Personna P74 (1)
Post: Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel, Fabergé Brut After Shave Lotion

It takes me a shave or two for muscle memory to kick in with the P74 blade, as it is very sharp, and the lightest of touches is all that is required to vanquish stubble.

Pre-shave: Hot flannel, Pears soap
Brush: TroyCraft "Polar Nocturne" 28mm AP Titanium
Soap: Declaration Grooming/Chatillon Lux - Sunrise on LaSalle
Razor: Blackland Sabre
Blade: Personna GEM Stainless
Post-shave: TND witch hazel, homebrew moisturiser, Oxford & Cambridge cologne

For the last few years, I've been dedicating this month as "Samples September" to using up any soap samples I have left over. This year I only have two, and only because they inexplicably managed to filter down to the bottom of my products drawer. This one, sent to me 3 years ago (!) by @MadFlava81 (thanks (y)) has a glorious floral scent, perfect for brightening a blustery, rainy day. And the DG Milksteak base is sublime. I very nearly busted out of my sabbatical and went to order some, but then figured I'd waited 3 years, so another 3 months wouldn't make any difference...

Pre-shave: Hot flannel, Pears soap
Brush: Forgotten Art "Macchiato" Snow Leopard
Soap: Barrister & Mann - Electric Mayhem
Razor: Blackland Vector
Blade: Schick Proline
Post-shave: TND witch hazel, homebrew moisturiser, Oxford & Cambridge cologne

This sample of Electric Mayhem was generously sent to me by @MadFlava81 a bit over 3 years ago, (Thanks (y)) and for some reason fell through the cracks to reappear in the course of my 2025 sabbatical as a relief from the quotidian ennui of my usual rotation. It's a B&M collaboration with Jim Maher (Chatillon Lux), so I expected the scent to be a step above B&M's usual offerings. It's designed to evoke "the essence of Electroswing", resembling "hot neon lights and cold drinks". I have no idea whether it does that or not. (Scent notes are given as "yuzu, tamarind, plum, galbanum, ozone, clary sage absolute, rosewood fretboard, ambrette seed, and white musk".)

Probably a bit too complex for a bear of little brain like me, but enjoyable nonetheless. And of course it goes without saying that B&M's bases are superb
