Almost forgot what a brilliant razor the Wolfman is...a super efficient shave with the aid of some stellar Mike's lather.

Been ages since a SOTD post but I have been shaving! Tried out my new 1940s Swing Senior today with a red & white stainless Gillette blade. Beautiful, smooth and efficient shave! I'm really impressed and it's jumped up my list pretty quickly. I will continue to play with a number of blades so find the sweetest spot.

I'm a mid century guy.

That's just shadow and a phone filter. It still looks brand new.

I left a blade in for two days and the inside of the top cap got a bit of a stain on it where water drops let's had not dried. I have disassembled it every time except that. TBH I'm not to keen on pulling it apart every time.

How have you been handling it?

The Black Hawk is one of my most consistent performers. Easy DFS. I keep it in my travel kit. I might chuck in a DE and occasionally a straight but the Black Hawk is always the safe fallback.

Using up the cream nicely and I’ve worked out that there’s something in it that makes my skin feel nice and moisturised. Even soft. I think there might be 3 or 4 days left only. I’ve been excessively using it but I don’t care as a small blob does SFA to get a good lather. Walnuts people. Walnuts I say! (y)

The blade didn’t provide as smooth a shave as other blades but hopefully that’ll improve tomorrow and later with some uses on it.

Wonderfull shave this morning and I'm really loving the scent on this soap. Long shot at best but has anyone got a bottle of matching splash they want to part with?

Get some uses out of this amazing scent before the weather turns hot!

The A plate is amazing daily use with senesitive type skin. It gets as close as plate 3/4 on the 6S. I was a very limited cutting angle though. You need to hit it perfect.

Edit: I should say the A plate feels like your using R2 on the Rockwell

A mate let me borrow his DG soap so tried that first time this morning, have to say i loved it.. smell was a nice barbershop. Have to say the slickness and cushion were amazing, up there with the WK i have.. i will need to A/B these together one day
