Pre-shave: Hot flannel, Pears soap
Brush: CaYuen "Watermelon" 28mm AP G5A
Soap: Mystic Water - Jeff's Lavender
Razor: Blackland Sabre
Blade: Personna GEM Stainless
Post-shave: Shower, Castle Forbes Lavender balm , homebrew moisturiser, La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF50+, Oxford & Cambridge cologne
COTD: Mocha Ismaili, Yemen

Gem Junior (Parade)
Gem Blue Star (carbon steel)
Albright Rubberset/ Omega
Vintage Colgate
Squadron Empire

First time using the Vintage Colgate and it gave a great lather very easily.
I haven't used the carbon Gem blades for some time, unlike the stainless Gems they give a super smooth shave on the first use, just a pity they rust so easily and are hard to get.

Brush: Omega Pro 48 Boar
Soap: Arko
Razor: Above The Tie S1
Blade: Perma Sharp (1)

In locations where the water quality can be an unknown quantity, I have found no soap more bulletproof than Arko.

I'm reminded of an immortal quote from the late Douglas Adams:

“It can hardly be a coincidence that no language on Earth has ever produced the expression "as pretty as an airport". Airports are ugly. Some are very ugly. Some attain a degree of ugliness that can only be the result of a special effort..."

I suspect as much could be said about mining camps. :ROFLMAO:

Pre-shave: Hot flannel, Pears soap
Brush: Forgotten Art "Tarkine" Ω boar
Soap: B&M - Rhapsody - thanks @MadFlava81 (y)
Razor: Blackland Sabre
Blade: Personna GEM Stainless
Post-shave: Shower, Thayer's witch hazel w/- cucumber , homebrew moisturiser, La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF50+
COTD: Mocha Ismaili, Yemen

The scent of this soap didn't grab me much on this try, but I won't give up on it just yet. Very floral, which is fine by me, but they just had to go and put fucking patchouli in it, didn't they? But not a write-off, as I have a feeling I might like it better next time.
