Thanks to @bald as for making a great job of honing my vintage wedge blades and this Derby shave stick. First one used today and it was a great smooth two pass shave. The Derby stick is perhaps the easiest lather I have ever made!
It will be Lather Catchers, Wedge blades, shave sticks and wooden handled boar brushes for a while now.

The ferry was just overnight from Amsterdam to Newcastle on Tyne. A much cooler option than flying to Edinburgh, the journey is sometimes the best part.
