hey @Korbz what kit did you buy into mate?

Nikon d5100 kit (usual 18-55 and 55-300 lenses) and also grabbed a 35mm fixed.

what settings did you use for your shots.

TBH I can't remember now lol. Most of those were taken back in 2012 I do remember that it was a truckload easier underexposing shots and bringing detail out of nef files in lightroom than it was trying to get the exact right exposure in the moment.

These two took a crap load of learning lightroom in youtube (edit - just found the original to the first shot. I will upload for comparison)

Then there was this one from a weekend in Kingscliff. Shot on auto I think and had to try to bring back to life on the computer.

The ever shitty moon shot, which would be so much easier with a tripod and long exposure. Then the drop of water, which is always good fun trying to capture.

Nice, same camera as mine, i only have the 18-55 lens. If santa is good i am getting the 50mm, the non DX type that is still autofocus.
