That's crazy , it looks like bare brass in the before pics. Is there some weird lighting happening or am I losing the plot?

Lighting (colour balance) in the before pics makes it look brassy. Compare the colour of the white in the background. It is similarly rosey in the before, but white in the after.

Wow! It looks amazing. I wish my SLIM could get some attention from you. Unfortunately South Africa is a bit far away and it will be an expensive exercise getting it there and back. Ah well, at least I can admire your work on the forum.
