The way knowledge is handed on.

G'Day All,
I thought I would publish my thoughts on the handing on of knowledge after spending a convivial few hours in the company of Adam aka Spawnless.
He is in the place where we all have been - champing at the bit to learn everything about this wonderful sport of removing facial hair the way our forefathers did - pinning, scale making, blade reconditioning, honing and, last but not least, shaving.
I am in the position (having made most of the mistakes) of being able to pass on knowledge that I have gained and pointers to the places additional knowledge lives.
I am thankful that I had the opportunity to spend time with Adam and (hopefully) guide him along his journey into the world of single blade shaving.
I hope we can spend more time together in the future.

Thanks heaps for giving me the time this week mate.
I was lucky enough to be able to sit down and learn about different stones, honing techniques, as well as repinning and honing one of the razors I had cleaned up. Havachat showed me how to set a bevel on said razor and then proceeded to progress up the stones leaving me with a razor that has given me he smoothest, least harsh shave to date!
Looking forward to catching up again to do it all over again with my "thiers" :)
Thanks to everyone that has made me feel welcome and given me advice since joining, it's good to see such a helpful knowledgable community.
