I don't have a sign on so can't see the price.
They are pretty small at 37mm though.
PS his budget was $4-600 so the tuna I posted is well within budget
The SKX007 is the go to watch for modding to get the look your after, there are plenty of aftermarket parts and whole communities dedicated to modding it so it's really easy to get the watch looking the way you want.
Have a look at the link below about modding if you were interested in going down that path, it's not hard or something that you couldn't do yourself fairly easily.

Yes, yes they do....Seiko almost make too many nice watches for their own good don't they?
I'd stay away from the 7Sxx range of movements and stick to the 4Rxx movements only. Look at http://www.skywatches.com.sg/review...o-automatic-watch-4r35-4r36-4r39-movement.htm
I think what you want is a Monster. http://www.skywatches.com.sg/review...matic-monster-diver-watch-srp309j1-srp309.htm for the Orange Monster, and http://www.creationwatches.com/prod...o-monster-automatic-divers-srp313k2-4344.html for the 'Blood' Monster.
Since you said you liked the idea of the Kinetics (Automatic rotor charging a cell, Quartz drive - aka 'MechaQuartz') or a Eco-Drive (solar-charged Quartz) then I would look at the Seiko models starting with SUN. Something like http://www.skywatches.com.sg/reviews/seiko-prospex-kinetic-gmt-scuba-diver-watch-sun021p1-sun021.htm or http://www.skywatches.com.sg/reviews/seiko-prospex-kinetic-gmt-scuba-diver-watch-sun023p1-sun023.htm
