Which is best? SE or DE? The Great 2012 Shave-Off

Decided I would push the thread along again YKW.

Amazingly it has 70 replies and a whopping 4,689 views!

GT - you really are a legend

Anyhow, on topic. Which is best? At the moment I'd say it's a dead heat for me. Until I totally by accident found the DE razor (7 O'Clock bakelite) I really liked I would have given it to SEs. There are a few SE razors I like and can use such as the Featherweight, Bullet Tip, Clog Pruf and Streamline. On the other hand, inspite of the vast number of different DEs out there I haven't found any outside of my lightweight bakelite jobbie that I get on with. I've tried examples of each sort such as the three piece closed and open comb, TTO and adjustable and they just don't do it for me. The huge number of DE blades is fun to play around with.

I don't think I've ever had a bad shave from my Featherweight, which is more than I can say for any one of my DE razors. I just don't get the same level of enjoyment from it though, and the endless supply of DE blades to try keeps me away too.
