Happy Easter Everyone.'
'No I didn't shave today!'
...........Tried a 'Bic' yellow and black wrappered blade the other night - ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE - one of the worst blades I've ever tried. Tossed it in the bin after a few strokes. It'd been in a Slim - so no excuses for it. Really ghastly blade.
I've never tried Tabac, but you rarely hear a bad thing about it. Do you have the soap or cream, GT?

..........nowhere near as good as ARKO of course but then you can always rub your face with a urinal block if desperate.......
I sometimes wonder what site this is. .

Couple nicks as I was rushing, otherwise a nice enough shave. I keep forgetting to respect the R41. Might go back to the Progress for a while and retrain myself.
If anyone has a stick of Arko I would love to try it out..? Happy to pay postage or trade you something.
.......... Have just been doing single passes.........
Single passes? You mght as well grow a beard like everybody else.
Just had a first shave with a pre-spoiler vintage Gillette stainless blade (that's a mouth full!). Very sharp, very smooth, very nice. Did of course ARKO! it. Can't really go wrong. Based on the one shave so far I'd have to agree with the assertion that pre-spoilers are spoilers without the name and yellow splodge printed on the dispenser.
yeah but are they really really cheap?![]()
Well....yeah....relatively speaking. Spoilers with the yellow splodge will generally cost northwards of $1/blade. These were something like 50c/blade for one lot and 46c/blade for another. Not bad for a general e-bay sale. And we didn't have to dupe some poor unsuspecting seller!
By the way, given that it's increasingly unlikely that we're going to land the stash of Shicks, would you like some pre-spoilers instead?
