So, the Naniwa Gouken Hayabusa 4K was sort of on my radar because it compares favourably with the Shapton Pro 5K (my favourite synthetic stone). Saw it for cheap on Amazon, then remembered I didn't have Prime anymore. Had to add a random thing to bring the shipping up to $59. It came in a form fitting cardboard box, with no wrapping, bubble wrap, packaging foam etc. I am shocked it arrived in one piece from Japan. I won't be so quick to order more stones from Amazon, not sure if I'll get lucky again. Will be giving it a lap this weekend and run a few razors on it.

The random other thing I bought was a little jnat koppa. They list it as a kameshirushi? No idea what type of stone it is. Feels hard, but not as hard as the ozuku, and the surface definitely feels lower grit. The grain pattern is pretty though.

I picked up the aftershave a couple of months back, and love it. They were out of the cream at the time, so I was spared that expense. I'll try Razorock's SMDF when that is available again.

Also, it is slightly different to the aftershave, but the Tobacco Toscano EdT is also fantastic. :)

I have had the V1 for years and was curious about this scent; the V2 version was a failure 👋

Picked up a couple of Gold Dollar/Gold Monkeys I didn't have in my collection, just to add items to some other purchases from Aliexpress so I could qualify for a coupon. Ironically, the most expensive one (208) had the most problems, whereas the cheapest one (666), was pretty much straight and true, requiring almost no work on it before I put it to the stones.

The heel on the 208 is a disaster, the spine is wonky (failed the tap and wobble test), and there's a slight frown on the edge from the heel to about halfway. A fun little project to work on, I think. I'll probably have to grind off some metal to straighten it out. All three had to have the pivot pin peened a little to tighten it to the scales. The 777 was the loosest of the lot.

Saturday was like my Birthday & Christmas all in one. Gillette 1910 ABC triple Silver plated razor, serial No B465029 in case with NOS blades, still in their wax wrapper. This set being a No 500 as a plain lid case is in ''mint'' condition
@LesC what the Gillette ABC shaves feels like? Pretty much the same feel as the Gillette Old Type shaves?

Gillette Fatboy. I stopped at an antique shop in Birdwood near Adelaide today. How could I not buy this one for that price. Needs a bloody good clean but everything works as it should, and the finish is in pretty good condition. I can't even tell you the date code, it is under a layer of soap.

What a bargain @Errol
I'm guessing you may already know all this.
Electrical contact cleaner sprayed into the internals and onto the outside surfaces.
Will make soap scum removal quick and easy with a soft cloth.
Just immerse it in warm water and little detergent to remove the solvent and rinse.
Cheers.

Thank you. I’d not heard of the electrical contact cleaner trick so will give that a try but that will have to wait until I get home. I’ll probably never use this razor but it deserves to be in pristine condition.
