Yeah, the first time I saw the Vestige, I was slightly put off by the spine of the blade sticking out of the back of the head, but I came around when I realised how much weight that would save. IMO, that makes it hands down the most original design I've seen, and I now like this quirky feature.
AD has a reputation for making mild razors, so the ++ (Supérieur) plate turned out to be just right for me. A long story led to me ending up with two +++ plates as well, but I found the efficiency of this wasn't a huge improvement, and it was less comfortable in use. I have now given both of them away.
How are you finding the Shulton OS shave soap after x number of years since produced? I find the 60's puck I have has more slickness than any other soap I have or have tried? YMMV.Pre-shave:- Cool Shower

The vintage Shulton Old Spice is a very thirsty soap, and very slick closer to MWF, smells a little too powdery just like a BBS.How are you finding the Shulton OS shave soap after x number of years since produced? I find the 60's puck I have has more slickness than any other soap I have or have tried? YMMV.
